What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?
One of my greatest strengths would be the pride I have on my customer service and people skills. Although I have only had one job I absolutely loved being a cashier. I loved shocking people with the joy they didn't know they needed in their day, and because of it I got a lot of compliments during my shift. I feel like my greatest weakness is that I am too critical of my own work. I have always tried to be perfect; however, I often find myself wasting time. Fortunately now that I am aware of this weakness I try to remain conscious on how I use my time, and I have found my work to be more beneficial.
Describe your school attendance record.
When I first started high school it became harder to miss school because it became easier to get behind. High school taught me that everyday is important, and that showing up to school means being more prepared for days to come. I usually miss a few school days per semester due to sick days or appointments, but these absences have fortunately taught me how to plan ahead and manage time.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years
In 10 years I will be 28 years old, I like to see myself living in the quiet part of a nice yet popular city. I hope to have a big house, and a spouse to live in it with me. I enjoy living in the present, so looking 10 years in the future is a challenge for me. I feel like life is a journey that you don't want to spoil by knowing how everything's going to pan out.
If a customer asked you a question, and you didn't know the answer, what would you do?
I would politely inform the customer that I wasn't sure about their question, and I would try to help as best as I could, but I would definitely ask a manger for assistance to ensure the customer gets the best possible answer.
Tell me about a time when you successfully led a group of people?
A time I successfully led a group of people would be when I substituted for the special education kids yoga teacher. Since i'm a peer I would go with them to yoga every Thursday; however, one week he could not make it to school, so I volunteered to go over the routine since I've done it before. The teachers were ecstatic when I offered.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
The last gift I gave someone was a keurig, and this gift happened to go to my Mom on Mothers Day. My Mom is the most selfless person I know, and for years I knew she has always wanted a keurig. Finally I took the steps to go buy her one... a nice one in the color teal! Her kitchenware is basically all teal, so it went together perfectly.
